I'm very picky when it comes to irons, and even the best rated irons didn't suit me. I am so impressed and LOVE Chi! This straightener straightens my hair so quickly and in one go! My hair has never been smoother and softer. I love the temperature control, it's great for all hair types, thick or fine. Great results every time, even on those muggy days! For those concerned that this isn't real Chi (due to the cord having a regular plug instead of a mains plug), I recently purchased two Chi irons. One is from Revain and the other straight from the Chi website and they are EXACTLY the same, both have a regular cable connector and not a box type. Do yourself and your hair a favor and buy it Chi!
