I have moissanite in a 14k white gold ring. This is a beautiful stone created by human hands. One of the defining characteristics of this stone is that it EXPLODES with fire in bright sunlight. When I received my first ring, it came with a certificate of authenticity. Let's take a look at this ring. HOW DID IT HAPPEN? This ring comes in a white box with a large red velvet box. The inside of the box is made of black velvet. ANY DOCUMENTS? There is nothing in the box at all to indicate this ring. Not even an insert. RING STYLE The ring has stones on about 2/3 of the circumference of the ring. The back of the ring is slightly narrower and is made of plain white gold. DOES IT HAVE A 14K IMPRINT? Yes, there is actually a 14K stamp on the ring. IS THIS REALLY MOISSANITE? is that it is full of fire when the sun falls on it. It has really great colors and looks very similar to a high quality brilliant cut diamond. When I first wrote this review I didn't see any fire in this ring. I had a hard time getting a spark or two. I wore it in the sun, it seemed to me, and really tried. Just not a lot of glitter. Then I wore this ring today on the road on a trip. The sun came out and BAM OMG this ring caught fire. All of this was amazing. It was just as fiery as my other moissanite ring. FITI wears a size 6 ring and I got a size 6 ring. It fit perfectly. PHOTOSI took some pictures for you to see the ring. I caught a bit of fire in the sun for you and also put it on my finger compared to my engagement ring for you to compare. The fire I caught was NOTHING like the fire that starts outside in the hot sun. This babe is beaming like you wouldn't believe it. The light refraction is great. SHARP EDGES? I haven't had any rough edges or anything, but I only wear it with my wedding ring as an accent, not on its own and not all the time. Ring. It is marked 14K but there are no underlays attached to the ring. The box is beautiful, it will be a good gift. When exposed to direct sunlight, this ring will burst into flames, a sure sign of moissanite. MY RATING IS FIVE STARS. I wear this and I like it very much. I look forward to finally seeing the fire in him. It requires direct outside sunlight, but it's great. The weight is good too. Also the lack of documentation with this is strange. It really has to have something to say what it's made of. For this price range, it really needs some sort of insert to give it a snazzy touch. This is a gorgeous ring when out in the sun.
