I wasn't expecting much from some of the negative reviews but wanted to see for myself. We moved into a smelly house that we knew the previous owner had two big old dogs but we shampooed it twice hoping for the best. We recently got a puppy who accidentally peed inside. In addition, he held it well, writing in his cage or sitting at the slider. This light worked like a charm! It showed spots where I thought they were! There were some small stains from the first week we got the puppy but other than that this light confirms any old stains from previous nasty owners! I'm glad but not happy to have received this if you know what I mean. Pooh! I think I should better feed the piglet to replace the carpets soon! However, heed the warnings. By holding my hand close to the light you can feel the warmth. I wouldn't look in there directly!
