Ideal for all Mac owners. I hate that Apple only uses USB-C ports on their laptops, especially for their Pro model, which is ironic since the Pro model DOES NOT have NORMAL USB ports! But this dongle solves that problem, it has 3 USB 3.0 ports as well as 100W power consumption. So you think you're losing that port, but you actually only get it back because you're now allowed to top-up via the dongle itself. So win, win. Pros - Rechargeable - 3 USB ports - Braided cable - Nice space gray metallic finish - Shielded USB-C - Nice and sleek - Similar design to MacBookCons - You can't transfer data from the USB-C port to the dongle, so you can only use it for loaded and cannot connect an external LaCie drive. Ultimately, I would recommend this product to ALL MacBook owners. Especially general and air users since you only have 2 USB-C ports and you need to use them all to the maximum. However, owners of the Pro model can be more forgiving as they have 4 USB-C ports instead. It's cheap and a lot cheaper than its Apple counterpart, has charging capabilities and a nice Space Gray metal finish to complement your Mac.
