I wasn't sure about the small size. I've seen many more expensive stud earrings that promise to protect my earrings, keep them securely in place, and provide comfort and even sleep. But this less expensive option delivers. I bought them with a pair of gold earrings I bought my mother in Italy decades ago. The original backs are long gone. I inherited the earrings but never wore them because I find the notch on the back of the studs uncomfortable for sleeping. I was afraid I would lose the earrings as the back was not solid. They are not only convenient, but also securely attached to the luggage racks. I'm not worried about losing those sentimental things. I think they are overpriced for what they are. I'd rather be offered multiple pairs at a discount per piece than a pair of backrests for $7, which is unreasonable. Minus a star or two for the prices of these products.
