Before I settled on the Yaber Y31, I compared four other $50 projectors (including the Yaber Y30) to this unit, which had a flash sale for just over $240. After seeing the difference between the two, I decided it was worth the money in terms of long-term satisfaction with a good, sharp, crisp picture at native 1080P resolution and the highest possible brightness and contrast ratio. Sure you can spend a few thousand and get performance very close to that of a flat screen TV, but for a lot less I'm very happy with the performance of this projector. It was particularly nice to be part of the hike, as you can see in the photos. We were blown away by the realistic view of Sandra Bullock and George Clooney floating in space on a 10ft screen in Gravity in the beautiful Colorado desert. Since it was quite chilly at night, we parked the car behind the projector on a tripod shelf, hooked up a Bluetooth transmitter to the audio out, and the SUV had a Bluetooth speaker, so we had a makeshift cinema in the car. while it stays warm in the car! We used a 300w/500wh battery inverter generator for power and I tested the run time and got about 3.5 hours on a single charge (with a solar panel next day). ). So with numbers of watt hours and 3.5 hours. Operating time, I calculated that Yaber's power is about 120-125 watts. I've seen a question pop up repeatedly on various projector listing pages asking for the wattage, perhaps for this very reason: How long will my projector run on a battery generator? So it would be very helpful if more of these companies provided these stats on the sales page (and in the user guide) to help calculate a model that would meet the needs of long-distance catering such as camping. I will contact Yaber and suggest adding this information. I put the 1 star remote on because Yaber went from Y30 to Y31. The 30's remote had dedicated buttons for ff, rw, next and go back functions, but on the 31 these functions require navigating the on-screen menu bar and pressing OK. Why should the latest model be less user-friendly than its predecessor? So, IMO, backtrack. Well, at least it's a bit low-key and I like everything else about it and would recommend it to others considering that if you're picky about image quality it's worth the premium price compared to lower-end models Top model when buying with 6 months interest-free, so GOOD!
