Off-label use - works great!
I bought this to use with quite expensive cosmetics in a tiny jar. There were no preservatives in the cosmetics and, apparently, it can deteriorate. These little sticks keep the germs on my fingers from contaminating the contents. I don't think wood can be sterilized. They are clean and work great.
