I wasn't sure I would like the size of this massager. I have had two of these full size massage chairs. Both failed after just three months of daily use; I loved them very much and hated them when they stopped working. They cost $50-60 and up, so I didn't want to take that money out of my budget to change them four times a year. But my back and neck muscles still hurt from my hairdresser and my face. that I am fifty years old and overweight. I chose this massager (Comfier Heated Back Massager, Neck Massager, Shiatsu Massager Pillow) because it was a bit cheaper. From the front, I was unhappy that this isn't a full back massager. I turned out to be wrong! I can move it exactly where it hurts. Lower back, middle back, upper back and neck area. It is very portable and easier to store than a large full seat massager. I love that it has a heat setting and an intensity setting. FYI: The instructions say to turn it off after each use. The instructions in my old pack of back massagers didn't say this; I used them 1 to 2 cycles (15 for 1 cycle or 30 minutes for 2, letting the motor cool down as directed in between) a day and then they wouldn't turn on for a day. Both did the same. They worked one day and were dead the next when I tried to turn them on. I kept them on all the time. This guide says not to do it. I have to wonder if they have a tendency to short circuit? So I turned it off hoping this will prolong its life as I love this little device so much. So far, so good!
