Fantastic power tool bag

I work 12+ shifts in the entertainment industry (IATSE Local 728 Lighting Technician) and through years of intermittent mealtime waits for handyman services and unpredictable, insanely fast work from scratch, I realized that the Lugging along my already admittedly minimal daily tool kit is often an unnecessary (lower) back pain. What attracted me to this bag was the Cliptech feature, which I wasn't sure about initially (and am still skeptical about how long the belt clip will last, and the part of the bag that snaps onto the clip itself is off hard plastic), but so far pleasantly surprised. It's lasted four months so far it seems very durable and 'tough' apart from a few scratches here and there probably from rubbing between the plastic parts while riding. This feature makes it incredibly easy to attach or detach the pouch to your belt, whether it's a regular pant belt or a separate tool belt. It can be quickly removed and placed next to it when not needed (the stand feature is also a cool bonus, but won't work if you have long tools in the side pockets) and then hoisted up and reattached in less than two seconds. It feels very secure and I'm not worried about accidentally dropping it as it would require pressing the latch on the bag and lifting the bag itself at the same time to slip off the clip holding the back of the bag closed. hook and then fixed there. My only real complaint about it is that when worn on a regular belt, the weight of the entire bag is only distributed to that relatively small 3 inch belt clip which can cut into your femur with heavy weight. Not too much of a problem, but it definitely stands out from other bags in my opinion. Lots of space and not too many pockets. Two screwdriver loops, one slightly narrower than the other for some reason. Velcro closure at bottom - still not sure what it's for, I think the description says it's for longer tools, but I can't think of any tools that would 'fit' in this bag without falling right through it. ; long tape chain for holding electrical tape; a couple of small loops on the side, whose purpose I'm not entirely sure of either, but handy for hanging anything with carabiners and the like; small end pocket with velcro flap, the sleeve is called a "wire tester bag" which also makes me scratch my head as "wire tester" can mean a number of things, most of which won't fit in this tiny pocket but it does fits a small/compact tool like a pocket knife (I use this on my Leatherman Surge, fits perfectly) the large main compartment accommodates a modest combination of bulkier tools; a narrow inner pocket that can be used for a laptop or thinner items such as pens/markers, small screwdrivers, etc. and finally a pencil case that can also hold a very thin screwdriver. A unique clamping system that I would recommend to anyone working in the electrical engineering field.

Pros
  • VERSATILITY. Our patented ClipTechβ„’ knot allows the bag to be clipped on and off any belt so it can be worn only when needed or when it's the only thing you need.
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
