I used them to install 2 dash cams and properly reinstall the DVR in a friend's car. My friend just put the wire in the fuse box. I took a look and quickly added a fuse. Good thing they include a faucet clamp. Of course you can always solder the connection and use heat shrink tubing for a good connection. They are very easy to install and the variety should suit most applications. There are several standard sized fuses to get you started. It costs money to hook up the fuse box properly rather than shoving a wire and hoping it stays. The faucet I installed for my friend also suffered from intermittent power supply because it did a poor job at first. Get it right first and use these fuse taps to avoid electrical or fire problems from improperly installed wiring.
