Beautiful, simple but high quality necklace. It is 32 inches long and can only be worn as a single strand - there is no clasp and it is not long enough to fold in half and wear as a short necklace. With metal alloy beads, the necklace has an essential feel. . Each gold-colored bead, approximately 1/8 inch, has an intricate geometric shape and is separated from the next by a knot of brown fabric used to thread the beads. The beads are the same size and shape but are oriented in different directions along the strands to show different facets. There are also some variations on tying knots as this is a handmade necklace that creates a visually interesting pattern and gives it a great everyday look. It's fun to wear. The metal looks like it could scratch my skin or snag on my clothes, but it doesn't. The necklace is quite heavy (lots of beads) but quite comfortable to wear. I think the pictures in the product description present the necklace very well as something best suited for everyday wear and I love that a picture of the necklace on a neck dummy was provided to give me a good idea of the length - Some of the necklaces of this brand do not contain this information. The necklace arrived well packaged and in a fairly plain drawstring pouch. I think the price of $12.99 is very reasonable for this solid, well-made necklace.
