I connected this device to a Cellink Neo 6 battery system so it stays on all the time. I also use highly durable microsd cards to minimize video loss and maximize quality. I bought this unit to replace a broken Viofo A129 pro duo 4k system which failed immediately. This device had slow file transfers, but this device quickly moves them over 5g to my phone. The mounting material is of high quality and the cameras remain vibration-free on my windows. Night vision is excellent and it caught a bastard hanging around at my neighbor's house at 3am which I can't show as he's tagging my house with GPS coordinates. It also works very well in bright sun and cloudy conditions with varying levels of traffic. I can read the license plates of cars near me, which my Nextbase 522gw couldn't. I've heard people complain about this device being too chatty, but it barely speaks and never says anything while I'm driving. The only time it speaks is when setting up or accessing menus, otherwise it uses sound bytes to communicate its actions. I'm adding a radar module to improve parking mode and should be here later next week. BlackBoxMyCar also sent me a Cellink to Thinkware connection cable that should improve my parking time. All in all I wish I had just gotten this device for the first time rather than messing around with these other cheap camera systems and being disappointed. Next time I go outside I'll try to update my review with some footage from the city. Edit: Revain only allows one video per review, so I added a front view. Edit: It's March 2021 and the device isn't working. switch to parking mode. It just turns off when the ignition is turned off instead of going into parking mode. I am using a Cellink NEO battery which gives 14v when the ignition is off but it just dies as if not getting power. Thinkware customer support is useless as I keep telling them what the problem is and they keep telling me to do what I already told them I tried. This device costs too much money for this BS!
