I got this monitor for $300 with tax and shipping but I don't think it should be listed for more. It's a decent monitor, but it's 1080p and a VA panel. Since it is "in my opinion" a budget UW, there will be little compromise. When delivered, the monitor is not calibrated and there is a smearing of gray and black. Response time is pretty good in the 100-200Hz range, but I don't recommend gaming below that. In some situations, the screen flickers, so be aware of that. If like me you expect to be gaming at high 1080p for some time I recommend this monitor if you want a UW experience, if not then look at IPS panels. You can get an IPS with a 16:9 aspect ratio that doesn't make those tradeoffs between image quality and performance.
