Life changing for my cat and family. My entire life (10 years) my Pepper has been a bundle of nerves. As the cat family grew to 7 cats of various ages he adjusted appropriately but never exhibited the calmness and general good nature that my other cats exhibited. After a recent episode of Pepper urinating abnormally (where only THINK counts), I went to my vet in despair. She suggested a pheromone collar, but I brushed it off when I made him a friend of mine who uses a "pluggable" device. My collar arrived late last night which I quickly inspected and laughed a little - just a purple sheet of resin/plastic with a bit of powder. I casually fastened it around my neck and it pouted and stomped away. This was my last visit to Old Pepper. The new Pepper appeared a few hours later, purring and grabbing my head as I leaned back on the couch. Sneer, laugh, say what you will, but the impact is just as immediate, profound, and shocking. I never expected such dramatic positive changes and was disillusioned with my Pepper as I viewed him as a somewhat tragic, tormented soul doomed to a life of turmoil despite my best efforts to make his world a comfortable place. If I had known 10 years ago what I know now, I am saddened by how much more peaceful his life could have been. Only 12 hours passed and his life changed. It may be temporary but I don't know why or how. This is the type of product that either works or it doesn't. And it works right away and with surprising consequences for his – for OURS – quality of life as a family. This is one of the few reviews I've ever written about a product, but I love cats (and all animals) too much. not to share my experience hoping another cat parent will end up with a cat that appears to be suffering from anxiety will consider this option. My child has lived with ugly fears for most of his life and to know that there has been a choice all along is heartbreaking. With that in mind, I recommend this product (and pheromones in general).
