Ouch! That thing keeps the food hot!

My 14 year old brought the chili to school (I boiled the chili before filling the thermos) and reported that the chili was still hot at lunchtime was that he couldn't eat it! He managed to eat half before dinner, blowing on every spoon, and when I opened the thermos at home, 10 hours after filling it, the rest was still warm. I guess I'll have to let the reheated food cool down a bit at home before filling the thermos!
