Review on Toms Maine Charcoal Toothbrush Toothbrushes by Pamela Jones

I love these carbon toothbrushes from Tom's of Maine. I love this brand of toothpaste and was dying to try their toothbrushes! I have used bamboo charcoal toothbrushes before so I have little experience with the charcoal feature which seems to be a new fad in the toothbrush market. I prefer a gentle (softer) toothbrush. My gums bleed easily and stiff bristles are not good for me. The problem with some soft toothbrushes is that they don't provide effective cleaning. The soft toothbrush from this brand cleans well and is gentle on my gums. The toothbrush itself is colour-neutral and feels comfortable in the hand. It maneuvers comfortably in the mouth and I had no discomfort while using it. Like carbon toothpaste, carbon toothbrushes are primarily used to prevent and reduce staining. While I don't see an overwhelming whitening effect like teeth whitening strips or even a high-whitening toothpaste, I do think they help gradually (invisibly) whiten teeth. . I would happily recommend them to family and friends who want to try a carbon toothbrush.
