Toms Maine Charcoal Toothbrush Toothbrushes Review

Despite the 4 packs label and pictures showing 4 toothbrushes and the price for approximately 4 toothbrushes, you only get one toothbrush. I tried to return it thinking it was just a mistake but I got a different toothbrush. As much as I love the Tom's brand and wish I could give a balanced review of this toothbrush, I can't as I don't think a disposable toothbrush costs $25. waiting for four. It took me over a week to get something as simple as what I bought and I ended up just having to agree

I'm already a big Tom's of Maine fan so ordering these toothbrushes wasn't hard for me. They may seem a bit cheap at first because they are flexible like many toothbrushes made these days. However, with their smaller head, brush stiffness is not an issue. In fact, I can maneuver it in my mouth quite easily. The charcoal filled bristles are super soft and glide well over my teeth. These appear to be very good toothbrushes with a decent grip and nice looks that children seem to like. The bristles are really soft, which is our strong preference. However, the head is a bit small, making it appear too small for an adult mouth. Although charcoal is noticeable in the name, they make no claims as to what charcoal does. We don't notice any charcoal when we use it, so listing it so prominently in the name seems a bit misleading. Most likely won't do anything.

When I first used this brush I was amazed at how soft the bristles were and how thick they felt. I couldn't believe something so soft could do a good job, but after using it my teeth were incredibly clean. You might feel a little cleaner after a visit to the dentist, but it's close. I love that the handles are made from recycled plastic. I understand that charcoal is said to whiten teeth, but I haven't noticed much of a difference - I suspect it will require longer periods of use.

Four packs ordered. Received four packs. That's a great toothbrush. It is relatively expensive, yes, compared to other inexpensive toothbrushes. But it's very durable and the bristles are soft yet densely packed, allowing for thorough cleaning. I think the cleanliness of this toothbrush and its durability is the best I have ever experienced.

I love these carbon toothbrushes from Tom's of Maine. I love this brand of toothpaste and was dying to try their toothbrushes! I have used bamboo charcoal toothbrushes before so I have little experience with the charcoal feature which seems to be a new fad in the toothbrush market. I prefer a gentle (softer) toothbrush.
