The cooler itself is slightly wider and thicker than the standard. This kit incorporates the Mishimotos radiator and rotates it in front of the common radiator for better airflow. I bought this because I have an aftermarket bumper that covers the original and my temps have not risen above 154 Fahrenheit on 97 degree days.
