I got this in the mail this morning. I will NOT count and see if everything is 1860! The box is full, so I have no doubts. The box is good. It closes well, the lid is comfortable. As far as I can tell there is no eye wander to other squares. The eyes are nice and strong and don't look cheap. As you can see, a few ended up on my computer. Damned. These things are fun! Very little ones are hard to keep, but that's because they're small! The next smaller size is the Green Bookworm. Then the next size will be blue. As for removing the paper backing, it's the same as any others I've used. (Actually, I've had a harder time to get the paper from the big ones than from the small ones). As for stickiness, time will tell. This one on my computer seems to be fixed firmly. The ones on the bookworms also seem to be stuck. But I won't take them off. And if necessary, you can stick them back with a glue gun. I'm making bookworms for my 4th/5th year next year. Class and these eyes are perfect for it! I see many other uses as well. Have fun!
