The collar does not shock! That does not work!

The collar does not work! My dog adjusted to our old Petsafe device which died (he was 12 years old!). This device seemed simple enough and my dog initially responded well to the beep and did not cross the border. After 2 months I noticed that she went abroad. I turned the device off and on several times to connect the collar. Bottom line, the collar just doesn't shock. I put my hand on it. Now that I didn't fill out the warranty and didn't return the unit before 30 days, I lost $300! I am very angry. I shop a lot on Revain and if someone doesn't get it right I have to reconsider.
