I wish I could say I liked this model as much as I did my old Olympus stylus. Maybe I just need to play with the features more, but I get weird color casts/hues when taking macro photos of small, detailed subjects and indoors. I need these photos for work - very detailed shots of small objects (fine detail is required for jewelry photography). This camera does a great job of capturing detail, but gold items often look like bronze and silver items can look blue. My old stylus (X-840) was excellent and the only reason I upgraded (or thought I would have upgraded) was the terrible battery life of another camera. This camera, at least the 9000, has very good battery life thanks to its rechargeable lithium battery. Otherwise, for everyday photography, travel games or just walking around, my photos with this camera have been very good.
