When I first saw the pictures of this item on Revain without reading the description, I assumed it was made of very tough polyethylene. When the goods arrived, I was completely mistaken, they are made of dense aluminum and, apparently, covered with enamel. This coating is necessary to protect food (lemon, etc.) and aluminum from each other (corrosion). Compared to my 5 year old lemon squeezer, it's relatively lighter and just as well built. I like the color and the ability to use the smaller built-in filter(?). I've used this with lemons and it works pretty well. With long-term use, I'm not sure how it will perform. Considering the price and initial quality test, I would recommend adding this to my kitchen tool collection.
