Precise and accurate for long range
I was a little skeptical about the long range and accuracy of this device so I did a test on chicken breast. My living room is about 290 feet from my grill, I took the remote control two things. The temperature changed in real time as if updating about every 2 seconds. When I got the warning, the temperature on the remote control was exactly the same as what I had set. After receiving the chest and removing the sensor, I checked the Weber temperature sensor and it was exactly the same as on the console. I'm very happy with it because I know I can relax and be away from the grill.
