We find it difficult to write negative reviews because we understand how it affects the seller and potential buyers, but doing so requires caution without hesitation. My wife and I bought a Titan Coastal about three months ago while training our 70 pound Staffy Terrier. In the first two months, no problem worked as advertised. Earlier this week the collar broke while I was outside with Hilo. It snapped at one end and luckily I managed to grab Hilo before he realized the collar was off. I examined all the connections for over an hour before putting the part back in place and even tightened the connection. It kind of shifted connections while Hilo rolled on the floor, I expect better. Fast forward to the day my wife took Hilo outside. He reached out and this time another limb snapped and he was gone. After a short exciting and scary 10 minute chase through the neighborhood, Hilo got distracted by a small group. We're very lucky he stopped by to make friends, otherwise Hilo would have gone to the cornfields outside of town and never been seen again. I cannot recommend a product that has let us down twice and nearly resulted in our pup missing town. We are familiar with similar collars and we have friends on various K9 teams who have used similar products but at a higher price point. I'd rather buy something of higher quality if it means spending more on security. Initially I was satisfied with this product, but after three months I do not recommend it to anyone.
