This mount really improves Arlo's mobility. The buttons that come with Arlo are very tight so I ordered them. The bracket is smooth and matches the Arlo design. The design is well thought out, if you want to mount this on the wall you screw the mounting plate first and then just twist the bracket onto the plate and it will snap into place. The mount is very strong and secure. Size: With a diameter of 3.5 inches, the bracket is not small, but it is elegant. Just look at your Arlo and consider how wide the stand needs to be to hold everything on the back of the table. This bracket is much more than a thickening. The height is about 3 inches. It hides its size very well behind its design and with the Arlo attached it looks good and doesn't seem big at all. Should this be included with the Arlo: I can understand why Netgear didn't include this mount: the mount takes up more space in the box than a real Arlo and that would increase the cost of the Arlo. I still think they should contain at least one of these mounts. This mount really breathes a lot of fresh air into the Arlo and showcases the magnetic mount feature. Conclusion: I recommend this mount. I will probably buy another one or two of these mounts. I hate spending extra money but I feel like I'm getting a quality product so I'm willing to spend money for it.
