Cool idea, flawed design

This product is a really good idea and there really is nothing else like it. . And it looks like a fake of their product. There are just a few minor touches that are generally disappointing. 1.) As others have pointed out, there is almost no tension on the table clamp. 2.) The plastic feet on the underside of the USB ports don't have a good grip at all. 3.) Combining those first two complaints means that connecting and disconnecting something is an unnecessary hassle. I read other reviews before purchasing so I thought I had a good solution to overcome these design flaws. I was going to use a command strip or even styrofoam mounting tape to keep it from moving. Which brings us to problem 4.) The inner shell that abuts the clamped surface is NOT a flat surface. See Figure 1. So if you try to push the extension against the table you will have to tilt it slightly to the left or right. It's minor and you can still use the command bar to pin it down, but you'll get stuck with the slanted power strip. what is easy. just looks awful. 5.) I was confused by the product name, which states that this power strip has a 90ยฐ power cord. I was expecting the connection between cable and connector to be at a 90ยฐ angle. As you know, almost all modern extension cords. What you get instead is a standard connector (see image 2) and it's literally a cable that can rotate 90ยฐ at the base of the band itself. Which in fairness is correctly described in the description. So it's an egg on my face. But, you know what? The APC version of this product has a 90ยฐ fork. So. And finally, the USB-C port arrived already dead. The 2 USB-A ports work well, but to be honest, what interested me the most was the USB-C port. Other than that, it was just a sad cherry on top of a disappointing sundae. a bit sad to write this. That's really a good idea. If Echogear could solve some of these problems, this product would be a great solution for many people. But until then. I will bring this back and try the APC version. (They seem to have some of the same issues, but at least they have a right-angle connector.)
