Updating my previous review: I originally reached out to request a replacement on August 1. On August 4th, I received confirmation that a replacement was ordered and being shipped. It arrived 3 weeks later, after a follow-up email asking for a shipping status. I'm sorry to report that the replacement leaks at the collar as well, with the shut off valve either open or closed. I added a second washer, with no difference. I was hopeful that the first item had a defect, but after trying on another faucet and with the replacement having the same issue, I have to conclude that it's more than just random.I purchased this to use on an outdoor faucet that is low to the ground. The concept is great and the item seems well made of sturdy material. Installation was simple, however, I was immediately disappointed to find that it leaks at the collar. I reached out to the manufacturer, and after trying the suggestion of a second washer (included) without success, they have agreed to send a replacement. That was 10 days ago. Ebay is not yet showing a pending order, so I’m hoping there is just a delay in processing. I can amend this review once I receive my replacement.
