My son is 5 years old, he goes to kindergarten. He is 45 inches tall and weighs 52 pounds. He's a big boy for his age! I was hesitant to buy other sleeping mats because they were 46 inches long which was only 1 inch longer than him and I didn't think they would fit. This pile rug said it was 52 inches long but I think it's a little shorter. It's still a good size for my son! I decided to write a review to help other parents with "grown up" children make a wise decision before purchasing. The carpet is very pretty and appears to be of good quality. The blanket is very soft. I haven't washed it yet so I hope it doesn't shrink. I plan to wash it with cold water and air dry. I will write another review after the first wash. Much luck!
