This is a great invention. I currently have plastic trays - the ones that need to be cut to fit in your drawer or pulled out in the drawer because they are too small. These drawer dividers expand from 18" to 20" to fit exactly where I want the compartment. They can be front-to-back or side-to-side. I am installing a new kitchen and am very happy to use it instead. These bamboo partitions are well made and attractive. They differ from some others I've seen in that they're only 2 inches tall compared to most 2 1/2 inches. It doesn't matter unless you stack a lot of dishes in each section, which could cause you to fall into the next section. Another difference is that instead of a spring action holding the divider in place, this divider comes with small screws that you thread through a hole and tighten into place. It will be interesting to see if they loosen up over time. They seem solid these days and my drawers don't rattle much anymore, but I don't have young children at home anymore. But this concept is fantastic. No more dividers that don't really fit in your drawers or are too small for what you want to store in them. I am installing a new kitchen and am very happy with it.
