To be honest I thought it was just an advertisement when I read the description "touch monitor". But now that I have it in my hands, I see that this is an important feature. This thing is HEAVY and seems to hold up well with users squeezing and swiping the monitor it's holding. The statement in the description "It's sturdy enough that you don't have to worry about it falling" is not exaggerated either. Both joints are very stiff. When installing the monitor, the upper joint opens. It has 2 bolts with 3 or 4 lock washers each on nuts at the top pivot. If the connections should loosen (after a very, very long time) you could seemingly tighten them, although you would have to disassemble the stand. Height, the bottom of the TV is 2 inches above the base with the TV screen oriented horizontally. So the claim that this applies to monitors up to 24 inches seems correct. If you're using the touchscreen on a table or tabletop at the same time, the screen will be oriented at a high elevation angle, so this low height isn't an issue.
