It's fine for transferring hand embroidery patterns to fabric, but not ideal

I use it to transfer hand embroidery patterns onto fabric. It works well for this purpose, but not very well. The lines start out nice and clear, but as you work on the project and things touch the fabric, the lines fade a bit, making it difficult to see intricate details in most cases. Oddly enough, sometimes it's difficult to wash it off.
