Well it WORKS. BUT. You must play the movie before plugging it in. You need to connect your iPad/phone charger to the adapter! You need to connect the HDMI cable to the adapter. The HDMI cable seems a breeze, but I wasn't expecting the charger to be plugged in at the same time. The next limitation is that it will only work on a few platforms. This does not work on Disney Plus. This does not work on Prime or Netflix. It works on YouTube Kids but not on YouTube even though the description says it works on YouTube. Actually it won't. He works for YouTube Kids, GazeboTV (which shows Sullivan films like Anne of Green Gables) and vidangel. But as I said, you have to have a charger connected! Or all bets are off.
