Very useful tool - helps keeping track of everything
I like how easy it is to use and deploy a new application as well as manage the entire stack. It would be helpful if there was more documentation available for newer versions of software. Also the support team is very good at responding to tickets. There are many applications we can use but Voltstack is one of the best out there. We have used other solutions in the past but they were not as easy to use or as efficient at updating the stack when needed. Our goal is to make it safer and easier to do our job with less stress. With Voltstack we can easily update all components of the stack without downtime.
Pros
- Everything runs locally before you commit changes live; this speeds up development times tremendously! And gives us confidence that everything works correctly, unlike previous CMS's which required constant testing prior deploying code into production environments wasting valuable time & resources.
- Easy integration across systems via API calls
- Easily managed upgrades between multiple instances (dev/stage dev)
- Supports full database migrations through CLI tools sucha s Postgres migration tool
