In front of the dress hands may be behind the lace, it's hard to tell if the dress pictured on Revain does but it doesn't look like it so make sure your child does lace plays with it because she can tear the dress off. The dress is more brown gold than light gold, the gold shown on Revain. This dress has straps which are not shown in the Revain picture and this is normal, be aware. The dress is a little wrinkled from literally taking it out of the box and trying it on. The hanging sleeve doesn't hang as low as in the Revain picture and that's fine, but be aware that the dress had so many ties (as shown here) that the zipper got stuck when I unzipped it to see put the dress on daughter . I didn't know when I unbuttoned it, otherwise I would have gone through this maze of ropes before unbuttoning the dress. The seams indicate that parts of the dress will probably need to be re-sewn. I hope the dress doesn't fall apart as my daughter loved this dress. We bought it for her Christmas dress this year. She is tall for her age but very thin so the dress was too big for her but perfect for her size.
