they will work. I installed them on the underside of the bumper on my 2016 Ford Fusion. I didn't want them to be too visible. They will be installed upside down but I don't think that will be a problem as all you need is airflow through them. One whistles and the other is silent. I think I hear one whistling when I'm next to a railing or jersey wall that would bounce the sound with the windows open. I was hit twice by a deer. One did 3,000 frontal damage and the other crashed into the side of my wife's 2015 Explorer. I also petted her a little. I'll have to wait and see if they chase the deer from the roadside. I usually see a lot of people on the side of the road driving home from work. If I find they work I will edit my review.
