Review on 👟 Merrell Encore Bypass Slip-On Shoe in Black by Uriel Arocha

***After two iterations trying to find the right size, I finally settled on a size that was literally (1) full size smaller than all of my other Merrells. These are new and I couldn't wait to get home to put them in my closet and never wear them again. WHAT A WASTE I've ALWAYS been a big fan of the Merrell, especially when it comes to comfort, durability and looks. They look almost the same as my other pair from 10 years ago but they are completely different in comfort and fit. To get a pair that stays on my feet without the heel coming off the shoe I had to drop one completely let size. My fingers almost touch the bottom of the boot, but both heels still slip out of the boot. Also, they're not nearly as comfortable as my old trusty shoes from ten years ago, the ones I had to glue on. The soles are put on twice again, I have no idea what to do with Merrell from now on. u. They had to move their production to another supplier (as suggested by a customer) and instead of giving us the EXACT SAME RELIABLE fit, they totally screwed it up. It's so disappointing when a shoe manufacturer has something that works great but has to break the mold. Just ask Adidas because when it comes to tennis shoes, they are pros at raising the price, lowering the quality and ruining comfort and fit. **** I have a closet full of Merrell shoes and so far they all fit my 11.5" perfectly. So I order a new pair of Encores in my 11.5 and they are absurdly large. I am sending them back and then my 11.0s come in. I'm still coming out of healing as the shoes fall off when I walk in. What's up I'm a full 1/2 size smaller and they're still too big on chart and of course mine is Foot size only about 11.25" and what do you recommend me to order? Of course 10.5", which makes sense, right? 2"? In addition, the shoe is not as comfortable as its older counterpart. They've obviously switched manufacturers so it's not in their best interest to ensure the quality and reliability standards are exactly the same if not better. I love the look of Merrells but they make their longtime customers go elsewhere. Yes indeed. It baffles me how companies (especially shoe companies) often break their mold just to change it. Look Merrell, we guys want comfort and we love the look of your shoes, but you really ruin what was good by making the shoes less comfortable and completely ruining the size chart. Please take some responsibility for oversight by putting everything together, otherwise we'll have to turn to someone else. IF NOT DEFECTIVE, DO NOT REPLACE.
