I really wanted to like this dress but all I could think of when .

I really wanted to like this dress but all I could think of when I put it on was that scene from The Little Mermaid where she's wrapped/dressed in a piece of fabric tied on with ropes. On the plus side, the quality of the fabric is really nice and thicker than I expected. My issue was with all the extra fabric under the arms/armpits - especially if you're letting it fall off the shoulder it just looked really bunchy on me and didn't flow like I was hoping it would. I do think that I may have had a slightly larger size than I should have ordered so maybe that was causing my problems. I imagine this probably looks quite a bit better on people who are taller than me (5'2&#34;).

this is a beautiful dress. I needed a cocktail dress for work but I didn''t want anything too fancy and something that was comfortable and could travel well. We needed something beach themed and this fit the bill. It does run slightly big but I rather have clothes a little to big than way to small. I was able to wear a tank underneath for support and wore fancy, heeled flip flops. I did get a lot of complements on the dress and it was really comfortable.
