Review on πŸ’» Wathai 100x100mm 0.5mm Thermal Pad with 1.5 W/mK Thermal Conductivity for Enhanced CPU Cooling by Louis Mechtak

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works very well. for computers and accessories

I first tried a heatsink on my new 1TB NVMe drive and the stress test results weren't very good. Then check the Dell service manual that says it and they recommend a thermal pad between the drive and the motherboard. The problem is they don't tell you how thick it should be. Used the end of a pair of calipers to take some measurements and concluded it should be either 4mm or 5mm. Tried 5mm first, bingo! The drive stays 15Β°C cooler than with a heatsink on top. A 100x100 pack is enough for five 2280 discs. I had to make six, so I ordered a second one.
