Well, here's a real test report. My pit mix weighs only 70 pounds, mostly muscle mass. His neck is 20 inches and his chest is 32 inches. I ordered XL according to the size grid. In the photos he is wearing xl. Fits perfectly in length but sits very tight on the chest and forgets about the hood. It would be ideal if there was a little more fabric between the shirt and the hood. The purpose of the purchase was to use the hood for cold weather in Pa so I ordered XXL but left XL for comparison. I received the XXL in a week and it was HUGE. There are no pictures because it was so big that he took it off. i could wear it So I'm returning XXL and keeping XL, just won't use a hood. Would have given 5 stars if the hood would fit. Really nice and soft. Can't rate the wash yet but first review is a good shirt at a reasonable price.
