Great concept, poor execution. It loses the HDMI input from the Firestick every few seconds while streaming. The longer it gets, the worse it gets. I tried replacing the USB power adapter with a converter. This didn't solve the problem. Tried with 2 Apple Cube USB and Samsung power supplies. There may be no isolation between the HDMI input and the power supply for the converter. When I plug the Firestick into an outlet, the LED on the HDMI power adapter I'm using lights up, indicating that the power adapter has power even before I plug the converter in. devices and solve any insulation problems. Now up to 2 stars. There could have been 5 stars if instead of a USB cable without an adapter there had only been a compatible and guaranteed working power supply. RE-UPDATE: Complete and absolute junk. Keeps losing the input signal. I can't find a power supply that fits this piece of shit. DO NOT GET ANY FURTHER (I would say "buy" but that's more AGAINST than BUY). RE-UPDATE: GARBAGE - just looking at this thing pisses me off because this purchase was so dumb. garbage
