A Famous Heat Lamp That Works

I bought this candle warmer on the recommendation of someone on the BBW subreddit. I've been fascinated by candles lately, but I've never heard of this product before. It's essentially a 120V 25W halogen bulb for a candle. It's basically the same thing you would use for a reptile habitat, floodlight, some ceiling lights, but in a more compact home decor form. I thought that it also heats from below, but that's only from above. It's a bit overpriced considering the beacon lamps were $25 a few months ago (out of stock as of Jan 2020). The cheapest is the tube style at $32. A regular heat lamp costs less than $20, and you can attach it to almost anything. These are the same lightbulbs I used, but smaller, in a clothing store I worked at many years ago. These bulbs get hot - no wonder the wax is melting. A coffee warmer does the same thing, but I hear it lasts longer than this type of heater. And it will cost a lot less. Because wax melts with heat, not flame, the smell "spreads" further and lasts longer because the wax doesn't burn with a flame. would get the same results but also think about keeping it because it's simpler, more convenient, more stylish, no flame, the only downside is the price. The marketing seems to make it special, but it really isn't, and I just wanted to point that out to people. Some improvements I'd like to see from the company: Make accessories for the stands to adapt the lamp for small candles - these lamps are clearly for large, larger candles, but if you have a small 4 ounce candle you have to possibly lift them up and put them closer to the light, on a cork board or lid. Or let the head of the lamp be adjusted like a table lamp with a flexible neck. I would prefer my heater to have a door, it appears to be there but isn't, only closed on 3 sides and 1 side is open. - open design of a lantern.
