I was impressed by the sharpness of the top (not magnified) part of the lens. I expected some distortion from glasses this cheap, but there is none. The bifocal part is also crystal clear and probably comes very close to the advertised magnification. The headphone loops are also spot on and have held their latch for almost a year. You can tell the bifocal part is glued on, but that's not a problem. You have to feel it with your finger to really tell that it doesn't look like prescription glasses. For this reason I bought additional pairs at higher magnifications to cover many close-up opportunities. There's no reason not to get them.
