As the saying goes, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. I've almost resigned myself to the fact that my cats won't leave the back of the sofa alone, even though I've tried to divert their scratching. They work as advertised, my cats scratch them. The only thing I didn't like was the strong smell when I first applied it, but that goes away over time. Second, gluing is not so easy if your sofa has a skirt at the bottom. It looks stretched out, but I'd rather have it as a sofa replacement. They blend in with the decor, no upholstery pins which I know my kitties will pull out and possibly eat, easy to install and non stick. I definitely recommend them.
