Review on 3M Black Stripper 7200 Case Car Care and Tools & Equipment by Dewitt Bhattacharya

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For those who use a Clarke Boost 32 " Car Scrubber, this squeegee pad is for you!

3M makes a 14" x 32" 7200 series pad specifically for Clarke Boost 32" and other similar car washers (14x32). I'm going to make one write additional review on this rug when in use.[edit] Last night I used the mat to clean part of the hallway. The cushion worked well and most importantly there was no old flooring on the Working side of pad left!I have used this pad in combination with a Clarke Boost automatic scrubber and the action of the machine (imagine a large random orbit sander) kept the underside of the pad clean throughout the scrubbing session.I have experience with one 3M SPP pad (also available here at Revain) which Clark says should remove all of the old flooring (no, it doesn't, but it's close!) The SPP pad is an excellent surface cleaning agent, but does not remove the entire floor covering. How to use the 7200 Clarke Scrubber Pad: 1. Mix the stripper solution as directed. If there are less than 6 layers of varnish, you can thin it a little. Soak up the mop remover generously and leave it on for at least 10 minutes.2. Place the 7200 seal on the machine. Lower the block mechanism. Turn the water level slightly above the minimum. Slower! 1st pass, cleaning with UP.3 squeegee. Make another pass after completing the 1st pass, this time with the wiper DOWN, the vacuum on and the water level raised from 1/3 to 1/2 full. Higher water levels will wash out the seal. I did this and there was no trace of the old flooring on the bottom of the pillow. The floor is perfectly cleaned! With this pad + orbital auto scrubber (like Clarke Boost / Tomcat Edge Magnum) + properly mixed scrubbing solution = clean floor!
