Review on 🧼 Elevate Your Cleaning Experience with the ELEGOO Mercury Washing Machine Turntable by Sean Burnett

This is the revolutionary product you need for resin printing!

I used to work in an office with a $5000 printer and it hurt my neck to wash our prints with a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol and then take them to a small nail salon UV curing lamp. I know it was a weird, shitty setup. I recently got my hands on an Elegoo Mars 2 and decided to shell out an extra $150 for this bad boy and damn I'm thankful for it. This thing is so easy to use. Place a large container of desired cleaning liquid on the object, press a few buttons and it will be cleaned. Remove the bathtub and put on the magnetic Lazy Susan, press the same few buttons and it will heal her. 2. It's actually the same size as the printer (Mars 2), just a few inches shorter. The shroud could even be used interchangeably. It is good for the uniformity of your working place.3. The even curing is so nice, it's a lot easier than rotating the model in person under a UV lamp or whatever you're using. You may have to change orientation to harden the base as well, but to be honest it's amazing. Some tips. You may not need to use isopropyl alcohol to clean your models. Check out Medium Green or Plain Green and see how well they clean models. I used Elegoo gray resin, similar to ABS, and washed the prints in a 3:2 solution of pure green:water for about 15 minutes (the direction of rotation reverses automatically halfway through). Then I take it outside and spray a few cases of 99% IPA on the model to get rid of the excess resin (often a little bit on the surface of the print bed). After that I hose it down in the backyard to get as much of the easy greens out as possible. Then I put it in a box and dry it with a hair dryer. When it's as dry as I can get it (about a minute or two) I dry it for 10 minutes and it comes out dry and perfect. Absolutely no stickiness after treatment. The resin itself is excellent. Strong enough for 3D printing. Highly recommended.
