Review on EBC Brakes DP61732 Greenstuff SUV and Truck Brake Pad - 6000 Series by Duane Kerr

Watch out for brake noise and excessive dust. These pads should be classified as high dust pads.

I am an ASE certified automotive technician and did a lot of research before purchasing them for my wife's 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I thought this pad option would be a nice upgrade over our factory OEM pads as we are towing a trailer and need a lot of stopping power. In terms of performance, these pads perform well in the mountains with significant loads, but since installation I've only had problems with noise and excessive dust. Although these pads claim to have average dust performance, a trip to the grocery store that is about 12 miles round-trip completely covers the front of our alloy wheels in brake dust. I recommend classifying these pads as a High Dust Pad. I wouldn't recommend these pads to anyone who frets about squeaky brakes or likes to keep their alloys clean. I will be replacing these pads with Jeep factory parts simply because I don't want to redo more brake work and send the pads back to Amazon. I took a chance and unfortunately I will no longer buy an EBC product for these two reasons mentioned above.
