Ideal for removing oxidation. I used it with a Custom Shop Heavy Duty variable speed polisher with a 5/8" threaded handle base plate. I replaced the base plate on my polisher with an AES Industries 51720 6.5" shock absorbing velcro pad and it fits perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the results. I've used the pad with just water and also with Meguiar M105 Mirror Glaze Ultra-Cut Compound. In any case, the results are very noticeable. With chopped compound, the results are stunning. Essential , if your car is more than 5 years old Highly recommended.
