I love this blanket, but there are a few things buyers should be aware of. It's really a little too tight. It hangs from the sides of the mattress about 4 inches on each side. I'd like to take the king instead, so it overhangs as much as my top sheets. My only concern is that I can't see anything holding the filling in place. There are no seams other than stitching around the edges. Honestly, I'm a little afraid to wash it. It comes vacuum packed so it will wrinkle. They'll come out over time and certainly won't ruin the whole damn quilt. However, all these negative things say that I really like the pattern. i have blue flowers Edit to add - I found the stitching that holds the filling in place. There are sections that are about 6 inches wide and run horizontally. Overall, this improves the smooth appearance of the quilt. I've washed and dried it 3 or 4 times at home and it's holding up great. I still love love love this duvet and am increasing my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Update 9-2020, I think it's been about a year and a half. I still love the duvet, but dozens of trips to the washer and dryer have resulted in the filling pretty much sticking together now. Now it's two sheets together. Rschunimagu. But it's my fault I put it in the dryer. You should air dry any blanket, not just this one. I think I'll switch to a comforter and put it in now because I really enjoy washing it at least every week and I'm not organized enough to have time to air dry it. I can still recommend the blanket.
