When I unpacked the product and followed a few instructions, I plugged in a desk lamp and cell phone charger, all worked fine until the lamp went out and then back on. I ignored it until my phone rang. The charger started cycling on and off when I checked the power strip, it was very hot so I unplugged it and removed the bulb thinking maybe it wasn't designed for that so I just left the phone plugged in and it did the same most. It appears to be a fire hazard. Update: This thing is extremely dangerous, it started smoking with just the standard android charger plugged in, had to unplug the switch to be able to unplug it from the wall if you risk using it for your safety and yours family to buy. Put a smoke alarm nearby, these things are unstable.
