Comfortable and truly opaque, but pills easily

I was searching for a great pair of affordable leggings that aren't see through and that could help me keep my legs a little warm in winter.I purchased these leggings at a few weeks postpartum, and I was so happy how comfortable in the midsection they are. These leggings are truly seamless. No uncomfortable band around the waist, yet they still don't slip down.Next I wanted to test their ability to be worn as regular pants (I know, leggings aren't supposed to be pants, but see above about how I'm postpartum and people are lucky I'm not walking outside in PJs, which often happens). Anywho, I put on these black leggings with some white underwear (which I figured would show most easily), turned on all my lights, and opened all of my curtains in the middle of the day. I promise that none of my underwear could be seen, even where the leggings stretched more.I like that they are fleece lined yet breathable. The coldest I've attempted to wear them is in 40 degrees during the beginning of NYC winter, and I was fine. I'm not sure how they would hold up during the dead of winter though. These might be good under my regular pants. These are true to size. I'm a size 12-14 postpartum and an XL in pants. The XL fits perfectly. I'm 5'2" and these leggings have a little fabric left at the bottom. It doesn't bother me, and I assume that means that people a little taller than me can wear these without a problem. The only negative I could find is that these leggings pill easily. After one wear, I had pilling (lint) all over the butt and legs where my legs rub together. It's not enough for me to stop wearing them. These leggings are black, so I feel that the pilling isn't as easily noticeable.Update: I was told by a friend that my underwear were indeed visible when worn outside in broad daylight. I'm no longer wearing these as pants, but under a long shirt or dress. The jury is still out when it comes to durability. I'll update if these don't last through the winter.
